Nine Vice is the story of indulging You, in the experience of being You. Nine Vice brings you deviously divine jewelry to soothe the sinner’s soul. At Nine Vice we craft Vintage-style Costume jewelry that is unflinchingly unique; it marries old-world aesthetic and new-world fashion, turning it into wearable works of art. Nine Vice works toward reviving concept-driven, Vintage Costume jewelry. We also define jewelry as Fine-Fashion, because it blurs the lines between the usual definitions of fashion and fine jewelry genres.
The aesthetics and treatment of each piece borrow from both, creating very unique looks for our pieces. We also try to meld the luxury of fine jewelry with the artistic expression of fashion. The beauty of costume jewelry lies in its ability to make a statement through the way it translates an idea, and each piece has a story to tell. Our themes draw inspiration from various forms of Arts, and Nature as the ultimate canvas. We translate our themes in our own unique way, to create jewels that are timeless stories.
Anvita, an alumnus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT), has spent over a decade in the precious jewelry industry, working with brands like Ganjam, Gitanjali Luxury, Nakshatra, Malabar Gold, etc. In 2006, she was the first runner-up winner of the International Tahitian Pearl Trophy. To her, jewelry is not just the ornamentation of your attire, but an element that adds character, that speaks for You. And her design philosophy is rooted in the adage - "details are not just details. They make the design".
Being a classical dancer herself, she believes Art is the ultimate expression of one's inner self. And she likes to draw her inspiration from various forms of arts & crafts and pays homage to them through her work.
